It’s almost time for James J Hill Days! Each year the citizens of Wayzata & the surrounding communities of Lake Minnetonka bask in the fun of all the activities JJ Hill Days has to offer! Shore Boards has been fortunate enough to have partaken in this extremely fun festival for the past 5 years, and over that time we’ve met some truly amazing people! We started attending when we just offered the Stand Up Paddle Boards, but for the past 2 years we’ve been able to introduce our Longboard (skateboard) line, and this year we’ll be able to offer our new Wakesurf boards that have been years in the making!! We couldn’t be more excited to be able to bring our passion for both water & land sports to the attendees of this celebration of community.
Things to know about this festival. First and foremost, it’s a GREAT time!! The Wayzata Chamber does a fantastic job in bringing in the best vendors, national musical talent, and an assortment of activities that are fun for the entire family! Secondly, it is essentially 3 days of fun (from September 7th-9th), so you can attend at your leisure, as I know our Minnesota summers get booked up extremely fast! Lastly, the ambiance is second to none. If you’ve never been down on Lake St in downtown Wayzata it is a sight to be seen! The community reminds you of something out of a movie. With all the hip shops you love, but also keeping that nostalgic vibe.
Summer isn’t over yet! Get out and enjoy one of the best festivals Minnesota has to offer.
